Composing the Opening Billboard for Kuya Wes
For this one, I got to work with my project band, King for a Day — me and Sach Castillo, with legends Rommel de la Cruz on bass and Wendell Garcia on drums.
The song is about an earnest man who’s been dealt a losing hand in life, but decides to hope and persevere anyway. Felt right for Kuya Wes.
